GGSA provides all schools with free access to the Positive High-Expectations Schools Guide.
These evidence-based practices improve behaviour, provide additional support to students and improve program delivery.
The school team can communicate expectations clearly to their team, students and families. School efforts are enhanced when parents align with the school’s behaviour management approach.
The teaching team systematically and explicitly teach behaviour and learning expectations to students. Students build their skills from where they are to where they need to be.
Parents are invited into classrooms to observe how teachers use positive behaviour techniques to motivate their students and keep them engaged in learning.
